VANTEC HISTORY

1983

On December 1, 1983, Bev and Willie Van Whye purchased Webster City Rewind and renamed it Vantec, Inc. At the time of purchase, there were only two injection molding machines and two employees. This facility grew to nine injection molding machines utilizing the latest state-of-the-art technology.

1994

Vantec became ISO certified.

1997

In the spring of 1997, Vantec we began construction on our new, advanced, world-class facility which would provide the space we needed to better serve our customers and provide a more enjoyable work environment for our employees.

1998

In the summer of 1998, Vantec opened the doors to a new 60,000 sq.ft. facility. We added four additional injection molding machines and expanded our team. By the end of 1998, Vantec had a total of 13 injection molding presses and 70 employees.

2004

In early 2004, we began construction on an 85,000 sq. ft. expansion project to our existing building. The new addition would provide the acceptance of larger injection molding machines up to 3,000 tons, provide more floor space to the warehouse, and establish a bigger assembly area.

2008

In November of 2008, we opened our second facility in Falls City, Nebraska, to provide additional capacity and be more geographically located to our customers allow us to be more responsive to their needs.  This 40,000 sq. ft. facility is capable of holding 20 injection molding presses with the ability to double to 80,000 sq. ft.

For over 30 years, Vantec has been focused on being a world-class leader in the injection molding industry by building a solid reputation as an innovative leader that puts the customers’ needs first.
